Corneal Diseases

At Cheshire Eye Clinic the Corneal specialist is Mr Arun Brahma. He would assess your symptoms and possibly run some tests to help diagnose your condition.

Symptoms of corneal disease can include:

  • Eye redness
  • Eye pain
  • Excess tears or other discharge from your eye
  • Difficulty opening your eyelid because of pain or irritation
  • Blurred vision
  • Decreased vision
  • Sensitivity to light (photophobia)
  • A feeling that something is in your eye

These symptoms do not necessarily mean that you have a corneal disease however they should be investigated by a specialist. Corneal diseases include; Keratitis, Fuchs Endothelial Dystrophy and Keratoconus.
