Mr. Kenneth Yau
Mr Kenneth Yau is a consultant ophthalmic surgeon and College Tutor at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital. He has a special interest in adult and paediatric glaucoma. He graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2006. He completed his Ophthalmic Specialist Training in the Northwest Deanery with a further two years subspecialist training in glaucoma at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital and Birmingham and Midland Eye Centre.

He has a special interest in the management of glaucoma and provides a comprehensive glaucoma care, which encompasses medical, laser and surgical management of glaucoma. As well as having extensive experience in traditional glaucoma procedures such as laser iridotomy, selective laser trabeculoplasty and trabecuectomy, Mr Yau also has experience in all aspects of the latest Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery (MIGS) such as istent, Preserflo microshunt, XEN implant and Ab interno canaloplasty with iTrack. In addition to this, he has extensive expertise in glaucoma tube surgery used in the management of complex glaucoma. He also offers cataract surgery including complex cataract surgery.
